First of all, I doubt many (if any of us) actually live in Detroit. I sure as hell don't.
2nd of all..Detroit might be the worst and most dangerous city in the US...but St. Louis ain't far behind lol. Contrats on being only the 2nd most dangerous city in the US....what an accomplishment.
Those who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones
East ST. Louis and St. Louis are two different things. The majority of the crime is in East ST. Louis, which is Illinois and looks like Beirut. St. Louis, Missouri.. itself is pretty safe. Try again. Det is terrible. Nobody wants to go there. Thats a fact.
This thread started off as it was intended and then.....wow.
Bad call, horrid call. Something should be done but there's no reason Blues fans should be arguing with Wings fans about past hockey success, sorry fellow Blues fans it's an argument we will clearly lose.
This thread should be about how the refs should be more accoutable for bad calls and how to better the NHL for all teams. Doesn't matter that this game was the Wings and Blues in the long run.
This call should be an example of how to make the NHL better.
No see the call was okay because *insert missed minor penalty last season here*.

got it
only the good parts of St. Louis count but both the bad parts and good parts of Detroit count

Well said. The poster that made the suggestion that the league should immediately review all potential match-penalties had the post of the thread.

There are safe parts of Detroit too smarty
But like I said, congrats on repping only the 2nd most dangerous city in the US. Quite the accomplishment there.
I love when posters assume the success of their team as justification to condescend other fans.
Alright, but when you start talking trash as a fan of a team that has never been successful ever, fans of teams that have been successful will always point out the lack of success. Who cares if if it upsets St. Louis fans.
My fellow Blues, Canucks, Sabres, Capitals, Coyotes, Sharks, Senators, Panthers, Predators, Jets, Wild, and Jackets fans, by decree of Mickey Redmond, because we have never won a cup we are no longer allowed to talk on HF. You heard it here first guys, we must disperse.
