It's because they are really good at it, because they have speed and they have everybody on the same page playing hard. When they have that it works. When they don't, like the last few games when the effort's not been there, it doesn't work very well and they get games like they did tonight.

If anyone thinks the Blues play a trap, go back and watch tonight's game against Phoenix and post up even one single transition where they ran a trap on the Yotes. They didn't. They play the same system a number of teams play. They just do it better than most, most of the time.
Just because you force the puck carrier to one side, doesn't make it a trap.
On topic, I want the Nucks or the Hawks in the first round. A St. Louis series would suck.
