Man, I grew up in MV too but I don't miss it one bit.

My biggest concern is actually about the defence/goaltending in this upcoming playoff-series. Last year in the playoffs we got drawn into a run-and-gun series and we were outgunned. We scored a lot of goals, but defence wasn’t tight and Quick wasn’t sharp.

The last couple of games against the Sharks brought back memories of those issues. I also worry about how Voynov is going to handle the pressure of being in the playoffs against proven winners. He hasn’t looked too strong defensively recently. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Sutter sit him down a bit and send out a Mitchell-Greene combo regularly late in periods.

I think, if the Kings can tighten up defensively and get special teams going OK then the chance is definitely there. If the game gets away from the gameplan then we’ll be in trouble.
