What an ignorant view. You clearly have no clue as to the injuries some of our key players were dealing with... i.e. Wes Goldie couldn't (and still can't, if I understand correctly) feel his right hand. Didn't even know the ECHL playoffs were going on until I saw a billboard for Kelly Cup tickets

congrats to the Wranglers. Going to catch a few games for sure.

..and sorry for the double post, but you know what, you're absolutely right. It was more emotional than anything, and I wasn't really thinking. Yes, Vegas was the better team. They outworked us in the offensive zone and shut us down. Fallon was great and if anything, Vegas does deserve the cup championship.

Well they did lose 1 and hard 7-2 ouch. but they need to lose another and win another for you to get a chance at watching the clinching game as the next 3 are in Florida. If a team sweeps those 3 you get nothing.

It was a good division. South Carolina wasn't that good tho really, they were just the right matchup for Gwinnett. Gwinnett was built for regular season success. If Greenville didn't play Florida in the 1st round I think they would have met in the Conference Finals.

What do they need to take the next step? More grit? Offense? Have to wonder how a healthy Jakaitis would have changed things.

More grit. Watch Florida and you will see. The forechecl was unbelieveable. I nwould say their goaltending was weak but when you spend 80% of the game in the other teams zone you can cancel that out.
