Bwahaha! He's been my go-to captain of late, the way the games have been going!

I think Chara is an outstanding captain, and apparently the other players in the NHL felt similarly, as he was chosen all-star captain as well.
I see Bergeron as a very worthy successor, the word "quit" is not in his vocabulary, and he, too, is well respected in the league.

Big Z is an awesome captain and was instrumental in bringing us a cup. He still has a lot of years left and will remain captain as long as he is here. If Z was not captain Bergeron would be the obvious choice. So much can happen between now and when Z is no longer in the black and gold, so it's hard to say who the next player to wear the C will be.
