Picked up McKeens today at a Shoppers on Yonge St, Toronto. Looks good. Quite a different take on who the elite players will be. Bold on young stars. I'll wait til others get the mag before I say anything more on it.

Just put my hand on the Mckeen's, which is my favorite hockey pool magazine, but with all this lock-out talk, I dont even feel like reading it. What a crap all this situation is.

I hear that. But look at it this way: barring monumental stupidity from the NHLPA or NHL, there will be a season at some point. Don't worry too much about precise point predictions; rather, what I am doing is simply ranking the players by position. That way you have your draft list ready for even a pro-rated season.

These are all great magazines but have you checked out www.stevescheatsheet.ca it makes its projections and gives you an alphabetical listing where to find them in the magazines and on his cheat sheet.

Not necessarily pool guides, but has anyone seen the official Faceoff NHL Yearbook or The Sporting News yet?

There probably wont be a Faceoff NHL Yearbook this year. There wasnt one back in 2004 either. And Sporting News are not doing yearbook for any sports anymore.

I figured there likely wouldn't be an official NHL publication since they didn't publish any editions in 2005 or 2006. I've been on the lookout just in case, as I'm a collector.

This is the first I've heard about The Sporting News, so thanks for letting me know!

Simply it is well worth the $7.50....probably getting off with highway robbery paying only $7.50. Always enjoy this.

Thank you very much! Really love the feedback.
I'm glad that you like our work. Hopefully we'll get a season to use the UPP now!
