Right, because answering the bell only counts if he loses I guess. He manned up, he pounded his challenger, time to stop crying.
It's really such a dumb mentality that a lot of fans have. Oh, you fought this guy who barely even fights, how about fighting our tough guy?
Basically, their excuse is Harry Z is a rookie and a guy who rarely fights. Sounds like Vitale to me as well. Does Vitale have a little more grit to his game? Sure, but it was an even match. Vitale rocked him, deal with it Philly.
As far as Shelley goes, Shelley declined MacIntyre on several occasions. The fact is, nobody is going to fight Steve MacIntyre. He's challenged a few enforcers during his time here and they all have declined to fight him. Scured.

Everybody likes to think they're a tough guy until they have to fight a guy who's ended people's careers with his fists.

He's definitely the top heavy weight in the NHL, and it's hilarious because he's spent most of the season in the AHL.
I personally don't see the need for an enforcer, but glad we have the current best.

Not even close.
Vitale can handle himself, but it definitely goes: MacIntyre, Engelland, Asham, Kennedy, Vitale. I think pound for pound, Asham is one of the best in the NHL and for his size, Kennedy is definitely an above-average fighter.

Kennedy is my favorite. Most guys will sort of square off and try not to get punched. TK doesn't think, he just locks in and throws as many punches as possible. He basically just fights the same way he plays
