Reason I put the option of a 1st rounder in 2012 or 2013 is I understand some teams will be in the hunt for Parise and if that is the case Iginla won't have teams knocking on the door until after July 1st

Trade 2 is significantly worse than the other two here. I don't think either team does any of these deals though. Calgary will want a deal similar to the Rangers one proposed, probably with a first or two involved, but it makes little sense cap wise for the Rangers to do it when they are already one of the best teams out there and would likely have to move other pieces for the sake of the salary cap.

Iginla + Girardi close to same age, sure, a lot more.
But now, with that in consideration .... not so much.
