BUMP before game 1. Stars fan who saw great years from both. Ribeiro is way more fun to watch, but in terms of impacting a game, I'd say they are equal at this point.

I swear Ribeiro will NEVER get the respect he deserves!! What more does he have to do to be in the discussion for one of the top players in the league? Since being traded to Dallas and subsequently to Washing he has been nothing short of fantastic.

Since 06/07 (First year with Dallas):
PPG - .90 (I rounded up since it was .8958)

Richards scored just shy of 70 last year on the best defensive team in the East, he starts slow, and gets hot at the end of the year.

Ribeiro is the better playmaker imo but I'd rather have Richards on my team.

Richards is clutch as hell in the playoffs, and comes through with big goals when they're needed.

Pretty interesting poll to re-visit. Two-guys with something to prove, but far less pressure to shoulder, coming off of buyouts.

I say Richards, marginally.

Factoring in potential off-ice issues, it's Richards. Assuming Ribeiro gets his act together and finds some rapport with Neal / Smith / etc., he could have a really nice year. We'll see.
