“The most terrifying fact about the universe is not that it is hostile, but that it is indifferent. If we can come to terms with this indifference and accept the challenges of life within the boundaries of death, our existence as a species can have genuine meaning and fulfillment. However vast the darkness, we must supply our own light.” - Stanley Kubrick
Hah! The one act who I would be by far, without question, the most excited to see is literally the last one listed: Ra Scion. Former emcee of my all time favourite hip hop act Common Market. They've played Sasquatch in the past, and I've had the chance to see them live elsewhere. Soooo good live. Did an hour long set and only broke flow once for a 5 minute break in the middle. If you end up going and like conscious hip hop I would recommend checking him out.
Would very much like to see Japandroids and Nick Offerman. Can't read some of the lower bands and lower comedians, will have to check out the full list later.
Not quite the star studded lineup of the last two years but still solid, especially on the undercard.
Mumford and Sons will be an awesome headliner also. Stoked to see them live. Lumineers, Arctic monkeys, Reignwolf, THE JAPANDROIDS, Edward Sharp, Dropkick Murphys, Black Rebel MC, Ryan Bingham, Youngblood Hawke, Nick Offerman on the comedy island... lots of must sees.

Sasquatch is never really big on headliners like some other festivals. They always produce a deep lineup though.
I feel like this lineup is going to attract a more uniform crowd then usual. There is always some big folk/indie bands, but last year you found a fairly diverse mix of headliners like The Roots/Jack Black/Tenacious D/Nero that brought in a whole variety of festival goers.
I personally think it's a great lineup, deep. Excited for Sigur Ros at the Gorge.
Must be the fastest a Sasquatch has ever sold out right? Grabbed mine on the presale, maybe there were too many presales this year? Or is Mumford just that big of a draw? Or maybe Macklemore?
I was kind of surprised since last year I thought the lineup had a lot more big names and it took much longer to sell out IIRC.
Anyway I fully expect resale tickets to drop to about face in a few months. Right now they're starting at $500.
I fully expect a few thousand tickets to reach the market closer to the festival...that tends to happen.
I think the scalpers were in full force this year. The past few years they've released a few thousand tickets closer to drive down the costs of tickets on the secondary markets.
Still...it made my decision not to go a lot easier.
Yeah this happened last year too, not sure if this was any faster or slower though.
I won't be certain if I can go for a couple months. Last year I got my tickets during the presale and sold them at face value in April.
I wonder if they'd ever considering doing two weekends like Coachella?
It took much longer to sell out last year. I don't remember the exact time frame, but I remember there were rumors of it selling out the first weekend after the line-up was announced and then not hearing the word 'sold out' for another month or so after.
Then more tickets hit the market in late April.
Two weekends...that's probably a few years off if it ever happens. Sasquatch just isn't on the same scale as Coachella is...which is generally why I prefer it.
