Feb 16th 2017 Maroon VS Manning

this goes back to Manning "reportedly" telling McDavid he meant to injure him

I find this situation to be pretty ridiculous...mostly on the Oilers part but hey. Solid fight.

why because Manning reportedly told McDavid he meant to hit him and the oilers stood up for their player?

yeah--bad oilers

NEWS FLASH--the oilers now stand up for each other

Before anyone says Maroon jumped or forced him to drop the gloves:

Manning asked for the fight because the Flyers were down 4-1.

Maroon stood up for the captain and undisputed leader of the team, Manning answered the call.

Nothing wrong with that.

The rest was ridiculously stupid.

Because McDavid was dumb enough to believe trash talk and ran to the media about it. Then the Oilers say it's behind them blah blah but spend all game going after him.

It's silly.
