Breeding?

Wow.

And where do "Europeans" come from?

After how many generations does one become "European", "Canadian" or "American"?

That's my of the day...

I guess admixture is the word I should have used.

Why does "where Europeans come from" even matter? This thread should be locked up cause we're all African?

They can become Canadians or Americans as soon as they become citizens but that doesn't mean they're ethnically Canadian/American. The only people that are ethnically Canadian/American (wasn't known as such back then) are the Native peoples. That is why this thread exists.

I know what you meant and I shouldn't pick on you.

But where or when do you draw the line?

Didn't the Native people/Amerinds come from Asia?

Well, we all "come" from this man and his fellow tribesman.

But a lot have happened in the past 10-20 000 years in terms of ethnicity and language and Canada along with the US have become a place where people from around the world have moved in the past 400 years so it is kind of fun and interesting to know where the players closest ancestors come from.

And jews are not a race, it is several different ethnic groups lumped together due to their religion.
Just look at how the European jews look like and compare them to the middle eastern ones. A huge difference in appearance. Some of them are not even religious but since they come from a group who consist of jews they are seen as jews. But that is no different from a non religious muslim or christian.
Except that for centuries Jews only married within their religion, either to preserve their traditions or because they couldn't wed Gentiles. Thus most classifications have Jews as their own ethnic group.
