One thing that sucks though is I have no bandwagon to hop on(other than whoever is playing the Flyers) like I did last year with Stevie and the Bolts.

I mean, like, maybe I'll root for Florida in the East just because they've been bad for so long. But the rest:

Rangers? Well, I like Gaborik.
Boston? No. I'll only root for them against Philly.
Devils? I like Kovalchuk and Parise that's about it.
Caps? Ottawa? Meh.

In the West I kinda wanna root for the Preds but they just beat us and are a rival. Blues/Hawks are a rival. Yotes are meh. So I guess that leaves LA.

Maybe its just me but I find it harder/less fun? to watch games (in any sport) when there's no rooting interest involved

You couldnt pay me to root for the Preds. I hope that franchise never wins anything.

I don't really mind the Preds despite them being a division rival, other than they made up that lame "throw a catfish on the ice" thing and then their fans try to claim it wasn't ripped off from the Red Wings' octopus and has nothing to do with it.

I also don't mind the Blues all that much (was cheering for them to dumb Jumbo Splash and the Sharks), other than the fact that seemingly every time we play them their fans on here start a thread whining about the officiating.

Makes the Wings first round exit a little easier to swallow seeing all of Vancouver, San Jose, Pittsburgh, and possibly Boston, New York, and Chicago out of the playoffs.
The Detroit-LA games ere the most boring regular season games of the year.

Our fans whine about officiating no matter who we play... so it's just par for the course.

lol

If there is one playoff team I can't quite bring myself to hate, it's the Preds. I respect the work Poile has done, given their financial limitations, and I respect Trotz as a coach. They play responsible defense and still score goals. Good makeup. No real villains. Not sure what's to hate, other than the fact that they just beat us

They at least have a chance to break out.

Nashville? Nope. Phoenix? No. St. Louis? Nope.
