The Lightning were outplayed awfully in the first, but during the second I really thought they were playing against the 99-00 New Jersey Devils or something. Trapping, obstruction, almost no effort to actually play the puck, and then just dumping it in to try and secure the lead.
Maybe Tampa should sit back with the puck like the Flyers do and make all the talking heads upset.

No hate for the Blues. They're playing great right now. Halak is playing really well, and their defense is great.

That's how Hitchcock teams play, the Blues are a very talented team and very efficient. Mistakes by the Lightning ended up in the back of the net. They'll be a tough team to beat in the west.
Connolly has zero finishing ability. And I mean ZERO finishing ability. Garbage.
Roloson can't make a save to save his life. Not one. Bad bounces, no life at all for stretches.
I'm ready for the season to be over so I can start looking forward to the draft. At this point I'm hoping somehow we can grab Murray or Dumba. Would make a great number 4 dman next year.
Connolly's goals will come. I'm excited he's getting such good chances... he has the instinct. It's a little early to write him off like that... he's getting the best chances on the team.
The Blues are a very tight team, both seemingly in the room, and in gap. I've never seen a more buddy-buddy type warmup than what the Blues do.
The Lightning have become a very passive team. I think it was in response to Roloson's game falling off the face of the Earth, but the team doesn't do well when they're playing the trap. Which is what we've become. (and I say that without the negative connotation the trap has taken on) The trap is what unskilled teams have to do to win, which is our situation in goal, but not with the forwards we have.
I can't recall the last time this team has really put pressure on the puck carrier and gone into 2-1-2 or an aggressive 1-2-2.
Hedman made a mistake in that 2-on-1 that led to a goal. It wasn't Roloson's fault that he let that one in, but it may have been his fault in a larger sense, where Hedman didn't have the confidence to let Roloson handle the guy with the puck.
When was the last time you heard anyone say anything about structure?
After Roloson's 3rd goal, I think he started playing a bit pissy. I don't think he would have gone to the bench if Boucher had pulled him at that point. He was also a much more active participant from that point on. Makes you wonder where all that intensity was.
I haven't said anything yet, but I've been having my doubts over Frantz Jean for a while now.
It's like in baseball where when the pitchers stink, they fire the pitching coach. Or maybe I'm putting too much stock into what he's able to do.
I also didn't like how when Mikkelsson scored, he didn't play again. I know there was only 2:30 left in the game, but that's when, IMO, you double shift a guy who just got an adrenaline burst like Mik clearly did.

They had no audio for Rick and Chief before the game, cutting away before Chief could even say anything. They also didn't feature them during the intermissions. I know I like to make fun of Chief being in the tank, but this was too easy.
They gave away plants to people exiting the game. I did not receive one as I imagine supplies did not last for people exiting the game, after the game had concluded.
I don't know what the shelf life on plants are to get into the ground, but I imagine last night the Lightning were just trolling drunk people, encouraging nighttime gardening.
Decent effort after the first...same result, another injury.
They have been frustrating to watch lately, but yet I'm still optimistic. Not about this season, it's toast. But, assuming that SFY can get us that stud #1 goalie and an adequate top 4 dman, the future looks pretty bright.

He looked hurt when he was going back to the bench.

Yeah. I think he just needs to bulk up a little. He has looked a lot like Stamkos did in his rookie year.
2 more things:

I got my plant :-) I was actually really looking forward to it

I did not get a plant. Nor any girl scout cookies.
