I know I'm repeating myself but only because it's true, injuries happen, if Patrick Willis can get hurt, anybody can but god forbid, if something ever happened to Russell Wilson, my quartaback until the day I die, I know he would handle it with the class grace and humility we could only expect from him

I like Pete. He's a troll. And beyond that, I hope I have half the energy he does when I'm that age.

Those same players hardly ever lay a hand on him. Not not as straight-line fast as Humperdink, but racks up yardage by being elusive and slippery.

What's with all the crackdowns in the NFL re: celebrations

I remember arguing with someone back in 2006 or 2007 who said it was classless for players to celebrate. Come on. It's all a game, it ain't serious

Let the people dance!

The NFL is cracking down on celebrations, including spiking the ball, spinning it, sack dances, the Mile High Salute and pretty much any other show of human emotion

What exactly is the purpose of banning these celebrations? What is the NFL trying to achieve?

They crack down periodically, but this is the first time I've seen it go so far as including the spike.

Apparently the rule bans celebrations that are "directed at the opponent", but it's still stupid. Most celebrations aren't even directed at an opponent, they're just happy dances.

So when a Bronco scores and does a salute to the Black hole will that be a penalty?

Randy Moss....

Quote:
The future Hall of Famer has a tentative deal with FOX, a source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT. The deal isn’t finalized, but no glitches currently are expected.

The full scope of his duties isn’t currently known, but Moss is expected to contribute to FOX Football Daily on the new FOX Sports 1, a show that will feature Curt Menefee, Jay Glazer, Brian Urlacher, and Ronde Barber. Moss also could appear on the new all-sports network on Sundays, too.

One of the last guys I would have expected to join the media. I hope we get FS1 in Canada.

Professionalism, I guess.

I mean we never hear any rationale as to why they do this, so I think that's the best guess.

Who watches on Sunday for the celebrations? I don't see a reason to get rid of them and start flagging players but it's not a big deal.

And there it is: Ravens announce they reached agreement with former Colts TE Dallas Clark.
