[QUOTE=Interactif;57976687]Way too premature to call him a #1C, don't see him as the prototypical #1C anyway, but as a #2C, he certainly has all the tools to be a good one. Goal is at the deadline we hopefully have a log jam at Center where one will have to be moved out.

I'm beginning to rethink Grabo as the #2C, the guy is just brutal at using his linemates, it was embarassing last night watching him try to go through the entire habs squad to create a scoring chance. I think Grabo is better suited for the wing where he can use his speed to drive down the wing and snipe! Kadri IF he keeps up his play could be a much better #2C then Grabo ever was, at least Kadri knows how to pass and has an active imagantion out there.

Scott Glennie the kid that was drafted right after Kadri has played 1 game in the NHL and looks very much like a Draft bust at this time. Wonder what they are saying about him on the Dallas board. Really disappointing player that was rated highly as Schenn's winger in Brandon. Looking at that draft, Kadri is not far off of Schenn's career stats, interesting perspective on some players. Burke really wanted Schenn, will be interesting to track their progress this year.

This is a good point, but beware, you may be attacked for having the gall to provide a valid criticism of the 5.5M dollar man. All I know is he is paid as the highest fwd on the Leafs this year and if he doesn't play like one of the best fwds game in, game out. He should be called out for it this year. He doesn't have the cushion of being lumped in with the 2.5M crowd anymore. He's paid to be better, and last night he was outplayed handily by the #3 and defacto #1C who is paid 4M less this year.

Goes with the territory, if Komi was paid 2M per year, he would not be criticized as much also. But he gets 4.5M. That's the point. Good post man.

If we're bringing usernames into this, then your username suggests that you are ignorant and closed minded to only what you like, as you wish "death to all but metal."

I may be more of a Kadri supporter than most, but I call it like it is around here, I'm not going around proclaiming he's suddenly a 100 pt player. But your criticisms simply are not fair, I would argue that if it was anyone else I felt you were unfairly criticizing too. Tell me how a selfish player ends up with 64 assists to 43 goals in 119 AHL games. Your argument just doesn't make sense.

Make that realistic now.

Doesn't seem so unrealistic now, eh?

In all seriousness, I would have been happy with 30 points from him this year, but he has blown away al of our expectations this year.

Nearly everyone seemed to underestimate how good he would be but there seems to be very few who were calling him a bust.

There are a couple posters who have some crow to eat tho.

Breakout player of the year.

Pretty happy we didn't trade Kadri + Kulemin for Mike Richards to be honest. I bet philly would rather our package, or at least it's debatable.
