I remember hearing comments about how A&M was still a Big 12 team basically, and that Tannehill and Sherman were negligible differences between Manziel and Sumlin, and how A&Ms showing this year in the SEC is supposed to show the Big 12 is dominant or something. I see so many inane rants its hard to remember specifics.

I still consider A&M and Mizzou a Big 12 team, along with Nebraska being a Big 12 team. It'll take a while for that to change.

Mizzou, okay. They didn't change much from the time they left the Big 12, but A&M changed considerably since last season. I don't expect us to agree though.
Sadly, I will not be in Miami for the game. Will be heading to the local bar and watching the game with an army of Notre Dame fans. Off work Tuesday, so it's going down. My body is ready!!
Rooting for Alabama tomorrow, only because I ****ing hate Notre Dame. If anybody else besides Michigan and USC was playing against Alabama instead, I'd root for them instead in a heartbeat.

I think the discussion was more along the lines of how A&M was supposed to get schooled by the big, bad SEC, but surprised with a strong season which included beating Alabama. Some argued last year that the Big 12 was stronger than the SEC, which is why OSU should have been in the NCG over Alabama. A&M's strong showing at least lends strength to that argument. But your hyperbole is appreciated.
