Crosby is the best offensive player in the league. Stamkos is the best sniper in the league.

MSL and Stamkos are a match made in heaven... Crosby and... Kunitz are OK, but only because Crosby is the best player in the world. Crosby is and will be better than Stamkos for the foreseeable future, but Stamkos is #3 in the league IMO.

Stamkos looks to have taken his game up another notch this year, especially on the playmaking side of things, and as a result is tied up with Crosby in points with a game in hand. However, even if they were equal offensively, Crosby edges him out with his overall game, and if I was betting right now on who wins the scoring race I think I would feel safe enough picking Crosby.

I must say I'm impressed by Stamkos. I didn't think he would be this good without the mullet. But I still think he would have scored 20+19 so far, if he still had the mullet!

Give Crosby a winger and he'll tear it up even more. Martin St. Louis has more talent in his pinky finger than Kunitz does in his whole body. Yes, I'm aware he's playing at over a ppg right now.

Other than health, which really hasn't been a problem for about a year now for Crosby, I see no justification for saying Stamkos

Stamkos is playing with St. Louis, Crosby is playing with 3rd liners. I don't like Crosby but this is easy.

Crosby, but the St.louis argument is pathetic.

Crosby, from someone that has watched every game from Stammer this season. Stamkos has better sniping abilities, that's it imo.

Crosby but to say AINEC would be a bit ridiculous, stamkos is elite and 4 years younger

Crosby.
But, Stamkos has defintely proved he doesn't rely too much on St. Louis. He's scored plenty of goals playing on a line with Malone and Purcell.

Crosby's rookie season generated a higher PPG than Stamkos' best season, with the exception of this year.

05-06 was a bit of an anomaly for scoring.

Personally, I'd take Stamkos.
