I had a claim in progress but dropped it when Glen said he did it by accident. I just thought other people would do it too since we're in our first season lol.
Why does Glen have to wait so long before he can claim the player he accidently dropped? Can something be done to quicken the process?
Let me get this straight, if it was instant, I could drop current players to make room to add players who still had games left in the schedule? But couldn't people add the guys I dropped?

And this is called streaming?
Yes, that's why we put minimum waiver days. Streaming benefits people that continually rotate players in and out of ufa and no not everyone had the time to do it so it'd unfair for people that have jobs or not 24/7 computer fantasy hockey access lol.
I'm just wondering, was I not suppose to take Ian White in the FA? He was there for a couple days before I claimed him.
Its fair game if you ask me. In order to drop a player you have to click a button that says "Drop player" twice. If you make a mistake too bad in my opinion.

Na it's fine. I dropped him because I thought that's how you put players on IR. I just came on here to ask if the move could be reversed and most people said they wouldn't claim him in good faith. but as Ynnek mentioned below, he was fair game and it was my fault at the end of the day.

I'm curious to know what you benefit. Even if winning this thing meant that much to you, you still lose bragging rights because you were a doosh about it. And by "you" I mean anybody who was a doosh about it. Its just a game that could go on and on with no reward whatsoever

I benefit nothing as I didn't make any claims. I just feel that there is no trophy so if you lose a player too bad it all part of learning. Making a mistake is the best way to learn and I'm sure whoever did it won't do it again.
Maybe not everyone checks this thread though so claiming a player IMO is "fair game" if you see them available.

Agree with you. I've done lots of these in the past, and its more fun for everyone if you give the first timers a little more leeway to learn. I wouldn't want to win based on someone else's mistakes anyway. Hollow victory IMO.
What a weird change of events for Urine Trouble and Generic Team Name Here for their trades.
Regarding the adds/drops, I'm in the same boat with MarkGio/InfinityIggy, we should give the newer players more leeway. Oh well, it's over now. If you guys want, if someone messes up, you can message me and I can send out a league-wide PM.

Haha yeah, he accepted my proposal then said he was meant to counter with Vermette instead of Prospal lol. I figured it would be a bit of a dick move to say no. Hopefully Cole doesn't retire like he was talking...
