I guess Mccown isn't considering the child molestation, but how can you ignore that? There's a lot of side-issues with Ballard that were criminal.

... however did the Leafs still have financial success under his tenure? Dollar Bill ran the Hawks down far enough to be named the worst franchise in sports... bleeding money, worse attendance than the local AHL team at some points

I think that's more on Toronto fans. There aren't many places more devoted to hockey, and moreso the NHL brand.

Ballard and Wirtz. How more perfect can this get. These two belong with each other. It goes far deeper. Blackhawks former GMs Pulford and Mike Smithsov from Torontos organization.

Pushed out every great player the Hawks ever had and basically told them they weren't welcome around the team after they retired, refused to put games on television, wouldn't pay any of our good players to the point were perpetually rebuilding and the team was awful.. He basically killed hockey in Chicago. Night and die once he died.
