This type of thing bothers me so much.
YOU think he's not right for our team, our style, and not YOUR guy.

Chevy and TNSE obviously think he's right for OUR team, they clearly don't think his style is a deal breaker to be on OUR team. And they're confident he is OUR GUY.

Geez, you'd think it was Rae Carruth wearing #9 for the Jets the way he gets hated on by some. He is a young power forward who scores 30 goals a year. Yeah, I would say that is our team our style our guy. Twitter pics of partying with stacks of money is not exactly toxic to a hockey locker room. He is young and will likely get razzed by his teammates. I don't think his actions influence his teammates to a great degree. Seriously, he hasn't even really done anything yet and people are acting like he's pimping their sister. Can't wait until he makes a real mistake and people want to crucify the guy.

Signing him doesn't nessicerily mean keeping him. he's an asset. if they didn't sign him he was gone for free. now we can trade him for sizeable assets in return.


I figure with the Luongo move imminent there could be some three team trades in the works and we could get in on some of it.
