This is said every year because people love to about the "good old days" and so forth. I thought this year and last were both strong years, and had a blast going to the movies.

I'm surprised at some of the movies people actually paid to see. To each their own, but not many actually appealed to me. Out of the handful I watched the worst was Battleship for sure, and I only watched it out of extreme boredom. But I can't imagine it being the worst movie of the year when Nicholas Cage was in one.

The two worst I saw by a wide margin were This Means War and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

No plot

guy gets stabbed in the eye, only cares about his bullet-proof vest seriously?

Gyllenhal dies at the second last scene but then the next scene he is alive, attending a funeral, really dumb that was

only cool thing about the movie was the gold AK-47

"Only cool thing about the movie was the gold AK-47" speaks volumes about your movie taste.

End of watch was a fantastic film. I can understand thinking it was mediocre, but it's not bad.

"No plot" is even stupider.

I think The Paperboy takes the crown for my worst movie of 2012. Just a steaming pile of crap.

I was very disappointed in Prometheus. I thought it had such potential to be amazing...and it just didn't deliver. Which was too bad.

Jack and Jill tops my list, maybe that was last year though. The best part was Al Pacino's song at the end.

I quite enjoyed End of Watch, but the Mexicans -- Holy Christ! "Eff this", "eff that". I understand that use of language is probably prevalent within gang communities, but the way the actors delivered the curse words was just terrible.

I don't mind the ending, except for the: Earlier That Day video. What was the significance of that?

I literally have the 2K Channel feed for End of Watch open right now. That was an extremely callous, dick move bythe above poster who didn't use the spoiler tag.

As for the ending, at first I had your reaction but then I realized that it's just as brutal if not moreso that Gyllenhaal now has to go through life without his best friend and with the knowledge that he played a large role in his death. IMO that ending is a lot more effective than if they had both died.

And the "no plot" comment is just ridiculous.

The guy has Taken 2, Resident Evil, Three Stooges (!) & Journey 2 as part of his top ten movies of the year - don't waste your time.

Sorry guys, I should've responded to that spoiler post through a PM. I've deleted it so as not to ruin it for anyone else.

Prometheus was definitely the most disappointing movie but from the ones I've seen, Project X was definitely the worst.

I enjoyed it as well and Taken 2 for that matter. But if I had to make a list of the top 10 movies of 2012, they wouldn't even sniff it.

For real, that guy is a clown. RE:R was one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my entire life. I honestly can't fathom how someone would rate that movie positively. And it's not bad because I'm not into the series or that kind of movie, it's just a straight up awful movie. Legitimately embarrassing.
