That is a pretty damn incredible streak, even with the lockout. You can have offensive stars up and down your lineup and random luck can shut you down on any given night, even if you blow the other team off the ice. It's incredible that never happened to the Hawks in so long.
Really glad to see us get a shutout. Was Smith the last player to shut out the Hawks before this back in the 2012 playoffs? I can't recall if anyone's shut them between that time.
Anyway, If Kane was in tonight, things may have been different. I feel bad for him about losing his grandpa right before the olympics, and hope he isn't taking it too hard. That's never something you want to see.
Shows how good a team they really are, truly balanced for sure.
People got to learn how to use punctuation. On our radio ads the other day a black man's wallet was reported as missing. Instead of a man's wallet black in colour missing a black man's wallet is missing.
Very impressive streak. That being said I couldn't be happier that the streak is over
"It is self-evident that St. Louis affected me more deeply than any other environment has ever done. I feel that there is something in having passed one's childhood beside the big river, which is incommunicable to those people who have not. I consider myself fortunate to have been born here, rather than in Boston, or New York, or London."- T.S. Eliot
