I went to SkyZone once. I made it three minutes before my lungs were burning and I needed a rest.

So is Rondo ready to go at 79%?

Hope so. I see a good coach and PG and some decent D and a young .500 team. This won't be a bad year even if we aren't Cleveland. Winning a playoff series is a different story of course not going that far.

Guess the best part of opening night is over, Rondo already telling everyone to drive home safely.

He's Canadian. I wonder if he could top pair minutes on the left side.

Seven assists, zero shot attempts for Rondo through 15 minutes. He's in mid-season form.

So this year they are going to try? That's good.

Although just saw Green and Rondo come up lame within 30 seconds of each other

god dammit Ainge. This team is going to win 35 games and sneak into the playoffs and get a terrible draft pick.

Team effort is there and it's a continuation from the preseason, which is good to see. It's kind of weird to say, but the Celtics actually have a pretty deep team of quality players. There's a lot of potential and question marks but this team by far will be more fun and entertaining to watch than last year's train wreck.

I love Smart's game. The kid is going to be gold for the Celtics.

The Rondo interview after the game was pretty interesting. It's not often you see a guy from the winning team appear so disinterested, almost disappointed. By the look of him you'd think he either hurt his leg pretty bad there in the end or he doesn't want to play for the Celtics at all.

Just got back from the game. I was disappointed the number of empty seats tonight for the first game. Very pleased by the results though. Brooklyn is so soft defensively. Contested nothing. If Toronto underachieves, Celtics may actually win this suckbag division.

This upcoming draft blows. A guy of James Young's caliber is likely to go in the top 6 or 7 in this draft, if that gives you some perspective on it.

I'm sick of tanking. It's a ****** tactic. I like the way the team is constructed right now though. I hope they can package Green and Bass to a team to acquire a better go-to scorer though, as right now its too score-by-committee. But quite a few good quality role players on this roster, and they can certainly spread the ball around. There isn't one guy you can focus on shutting down, which is both good and bad.

This team's depth and coaching is too good for this team not to be a fringe playoff team. They'll be picking at the end of the lottery, but I'm ok with that. Again, try to package for a guy that's falling out of sorts somewhere later on in the year or during the offseason. An Indiana Pacers-like approach. Build through the draft, add pieces as necessary.

A player of his caliber deserves a max contract. Ainge saw him almost carry the team to the finals. Nothing can stop the trade rumors but Rondo has not been respected with a deal by the Celtics.

Just a pain really that hes going to be asked so many questions about his future and there is no way he can say anything abotu wanting to stay in Boston we won't even give him a top 10 player in the league a max deal. Some d bag will probably chime in and say Deron WIlliams is better than Rondo but with the salaries for stars about to go up we have to give Rondo his deal.

In a star driven league it is stupid especially because we have a few top 5 picks who look like they are great fits for Stevens Butler style offense where everyone chips in. Turner, Green, Smart aren't LeBron but they have their strengths and play some D. Rondo and those 3 is a monster back court.

Add in some outside shooting which is on the roster and servicable big men and its a great team WITH Rondo playing at 100% so so without him.
