No, Tortorella isn't confirming his lineup until right before the game
e: I think the only thing that would make me wary about trading Kreider for Hall is that Hall could end up having a lot of injuries and never manage to stay healthy. He takes way too many big hits
If Hagelin gets a suspension, should Chris Kreider be in the lineup?
I think so. I think he should be in lineup regardless and see what this kid has. He's got speed, hands, and a shot, and the Rangers could use some of that.
Feel free to discuss.
Yes. Kreider subbing for Hagelin, and after a couple of games, replacement for Mitchell, who I liked so far as to what he's given, nothing more, nothing less. But we need better for the playoffs especially as to firepower.
If we have Kreider's speed and a fresh Dubinsky, maybe we can sit Feds just this one game and dress Scott. I'd try for some counterplay with him on the 4th line, not mauling anybody, just some serous brusin. Then if circumstances are right, we can get some payback.
Do we agree Scott as 4th LW is better than sitting a 6th D?
i might switch Artie and Stepan because of the sole fact that Artie is the better faceoff man. not by much, but still better. Stepan gets hammered in that faceoff circle night after night. he seriously needs work in that department. ...

I'd love for us to have this chance but it only works if we're back at MSG and we get the last change, otherwise it's a pretty big risk. Sens are hoping we'll do this in their barn. Scott would see 2 mins at most, all of it a needless risk.
And besides, they may have first projected him a C based on his skating when they drafted him. We need LW help, and he's bulked up nicely enough, but C would be a great place to maximally exploit his speed with less risk of boarding, etc.
