I think we have talent just as good. Marty is playing well. Not racking up shutouts, and tonight was atrocious. Overall he's been more than decent.
Also got a good backup. I don't care what anyone says Moose is better than Crapper!
Shutouts are soooooo 09-10

Haha is that a metaphor or literal?
Luckily at 36 I've seen a couple! Just a couple here, and there. Nothing ever noticeable if I don't look in the mirror for more than 5 minutes.
I think during the TB game I might get some.

i really can't figure out a good set of lines for when zajac comes back. my guess is he'll center poni and either bernier or zubrus, but that leaves two of henrique, bernier/zubrus, yayo, and sykora on the bottom line, which makes little sense for all of them honestly.

I think Henrique (or Josefson) would be a better center for Kovalchuk. But of them like to play off the rush more. Let Zajac work his board magic to work the cycle with Parise. Find the open man, shoot puck on net, Parise cleans up.

That's a pretty sick lineup.

But that would be enough 'cause Marty will turn it on, too.

Was this the first time in like, ever that Marty let them down in a shootout? Amazing how good he has been in them since they were introduced. Feels weird to seem him go 0 for...

Dunno if it's been pointed out since I didn't watch the game:
Higher ranked teams LOST EVERY SINGLE GAME LAST NIGHT
6 games and even Columbus won. We had no chance as it was obviously written in the stars

I'd switch the 1st 2 lines around. No way Zajac should be on a top line when he returns. Other than that this looks way better than what's on the ice now.

Apparently it was the night of the also-ran.

As long as the devils finish in 6th place and face to panthers in the first round, and that would be beneficial.. If they drop to 7th they might as well call it a season no way they beat Pitt with the way they are playing

There is no way we are playing Pittsburgh in the first round if we finish 7th, which we won't anyway. Pittsburgh is probably going to finish #1.

This result was all the bad karma of THE DANIS bashing for his 0 for performance in Toronto in a shootout.
WAY TO GO GUYS!

I know people mentioned it but what was with that Windows Error sound each time the Leafs scored in the shootout? I'll assume it is a channel thing.

I don't want to see Kovy and Clarkson on the same line.
