Not in the NHL, but Jean-Gabriel Pageau was tripped on a breakaway while down two men. He scored the GWG on the penalty shot.

I miss Pageau.

I was at this game, Philly was up 7-2 in the 3rd at the time. All you can do is laugh. Same game as the Boulerice on Kesler crosscheck.

Didn't Richards have one against the Rangers @ MSG?

I was watching this game at a bar in my hometown. The entire city was hit by a power outage after the first goal and it was 8-2 when the power came back on. I'm not convinced that game actually happened.

Matt Cooke against the Flyers.

Max Talbot almost did it against the Pens in the game prior.

Believe that Serge Savard did it against Philadelphia in the playoffs.
Think it was in the 1976 SCF.

Phil Housley did it at Quebec in 1990. The only known 3 on 5 shorthanded goal in Sabre history.

They must have been down late in the game and desperate for offense, right? Sometimes gambles pay off I guess

No, the goal put them up 3-0.

Maybe the coach was just rolling anyone out there, since they had a 2 goal lead against the awful Nordiques.

Check out a young John Tortorella on the Sabres bench.

To get back to the topic, I saw Brett Hull score a 5 on 3 goal vs. the Kings in the early to mid 90's.

If you think thats back on topic. You may want to re-read it. Or is this just a typo?
