And people said Colt, Caballo, Pie, myself and others were "crazy" for wanting a new enforcer.
Team should get Devane or Peluso during the off season. Especially since this is probably Thornton's last season AND probably McQuaids.
What's changed to make this untrue?
The Bruins will replace Thornton when Thornton retires, as is there isn't the cap space or roster space for a 14th forward who isn't waiver ineligible. Say the Bruins hypothetically had Peluso to start the season this year, what happens when two defensemen get hurt and Kevan Miller needs to be called up as the 8th defenseman? With a limit of a 23 man roster then somebody is going on waivers, that somebody? Anthony Peluso. Shawn Thornton is the least valuable of the Bruins regulars, easiest to replace, when the time comes Chia will do his thing, it's crazy how much some of you worry about getting a new fighter in line.
