If he comes back with better foot speed and keeps displaying his ability to protect the puck and get it to the net, this kid could notch 90-100 points this season and yet a lot of people don't even have him in their top 60.
I got to see both players a handful of times last year (It pays to spend half your time in the Ottawa region and the other half in the Maritimes), and while I agree that Carrier should probably be higher, I don't think Mantha is the guy to sacrifice. The way Mantha ended the season was one that had him as one of the five or so most dangerous players in the league over the last 20 games. He's only just getting used to realizing how good he can be.

They are both players that have the potential to jump into the first round, I don't think they should be played against each other just yet.

Is anyone able to comment on how Cammarata would do in comparison to Pat Kane before his draft year began. I know that Kane was under the radar, and Cammarata seems to be going under the radar as well. They are both small skilled players who always put up great numbers wherever they went, Cammarata even outscored Mackinnon while teammates at Shattuck.

Never saw Kane play at that age, nor have I ever seen Cammarata play, so I'm just wondering how they compare at the same age.

Curtis Lazar
Tyler Motte
Adam Erne (to some degree)

It really depends because a lot of these players are hard works like Max Domi and are physical as well, but might not have the greatest height.

Does Stephen Nosad from the Peterborough Petes have a chance to get drafted in the later rounds this year?

Anyone care to give me a little scouting report on Adam Erne?

He sounds like a Dustin Brown type. Similar size, and from what I've read it sounds like Erne plays a very physical game.

Saying that, I've never actually seen him play, so I would definitely appreciate it if someone with more insight on him could inform me on the finer parts of his game. Is he a good skater? How good is his shot? Does he play a very physical game, like I've read, or not? Is a Dustin Brown comparison a good one, or does he play a different type of game? Does he project as a top-6 or bottom-6 player? Is he streaky? Is he consistently physical (if at all) or does his physicality come in spurts? Does he play with a fire, or is he lazy?

Thanks in advance to anyone who responds.

3rd or 4th round. If he proves his offensive game he will go in the 2nd, IMO.

Some of the USA and Q scouts could probably tell you more about him, but I was able to see some of his games last season and this is what I thought,

Is he a good skater? Average, nothing bad, but won't beat defenders from the wing.

How good is his shot? Really decent shot.

Does he play a very physical game, like I've read, or not? He plays a physical game, but not as Wilson from Plymouth. He hits, but his best aspect is using his body size to keep players away from the puck especially along the boards.

Does he project as a top-6 or bottom-6 player? He has enough offensive potential to be a top 6 forward, but definitely could be slotted as a checker role as well, IMO.

Is he streaky? All junior players are streaky, but put up decent numbers as a rookie last season.

Is he consistently physical (if at all) or does his physicality come in spurts? Does he play with a fire, or is he lazy? He has a great work ethic and brings it almost every game. I can't remember if he was overly physical, but TSR (which is probably my favourite prospect website) calls his playing style a lot like "Keith Tkachuk".
