If we can take away one thing from this thread - quite a few Toronto fans seem to think their team has faced more injuries and adversity than the Sens.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, right.

Injuries are injuries. Both are at a disadvantage. Injuries are a legitimate excuse when losing, but it doesn't mean we or they would win without injuries.

A month is kind of stretching it no. Reimer last played on February 11th and is now currently practicing with the leafs and due back in the line up any day now. As of today he's been out 11 days and there's at least 30 days in a month.

But hey if saying he's been out a month makes you feel better than so be it.

Unbelievable, literally. Imagine the Sens somehow still make the playoffs? It would be one of the greatest stories in recent NHL history.

Luongo, Anderson, Rinne, Crawford, Fasth, Niemi, Rask, Scrivins, Price, Lehtonen, Fleury, Brodeur, Backstrom and Lundqvist are starters with better numbers than Reimer. That means for starters, Reimer was pretty much exactly average. Maybe slightly above but the two situations are not comparable.

James Reimer has a better save percentage than Carey Price. I suppose Price is very average.

Better GAA, leads the league in wins, plays on a terrible team... I'd say Price has been a bit above average. No matter how you cut it, Reimer hasn't been much above average at all. Good goalie but he's giving up almost a goal per game more than our guy. Whatever, I don't even know whats being discussed here.

Are people actually comparing Reimer to Anderson?

Andy's save percentage is much better. He's a much better goaltender. He's been the best goaltender in the league this year. Reimer has been average.

Only in Leafs' world of Oz is Reimer a goalie worth even comparison to Anderson this season.

For what it's worth, Sens fans, no one is comparing Reimer to Anderson. However, it's ridiculously short-sighted to say that a 0.929 save percentage is average. It's not average. Over a full season, usually that is a Vezina calibre number*.

*For those Sens fans who like to jump to conclusions, I am not saying that James Reimer will ever win a Vezina.

Yes OK a terrible team. Whatever you gotta tell yourself buddy. Have you watched the Habs like ....at all? They have 11 of their last 12 possible points and are playing a real nice tight team game for the most part. Price has been good/great but Budaj has had a couple nice starts lately also. They are leading the conference (so far) for a reason.

These are not the 2011-2012 Habs.

If the Habs are terrible, what does that make the Sens?

Say what you want about Price but he's a damn good goalie. I'd take Price in the playoffs over Anderson any day.
