Is it weird that the only election I have a real interest in the US is the Glendale, Az. Yucca district race for city council between Clark and Chavira?

When there are elections in my city I have no interest or don't even know the names of any the people running but for Glendale AZ, I know the names of the people running, their history and where they are born. LOL

I checked out of this discussion months ago. Anyone feel like being charitable enough to explain (in point form) how the election results (whatever they end up being) will affect the Coyotes situation?

More specifically, what are the most desirable election results for someone who wants to see the team leave Arizona ASAP?

Thanks. I'm kind of out of the loop here.

If someone could clarify - if I want the Coyotes to move (to Quebec),
I'm cheering for Cruz and a YES vote, plus Joyce Clark to lose?

I'm beginning to wonder if those are online poll results and not actual live numbers. Links are to ABC 15 but when navigating from the home page the Election List is unsearchable (???). Checking for different site now

not sure how accurate those numbers are... if you click on the other propositions they almost are all 55% to 45% too

I would assume they set the whole thing up but the page wasn't meant to be accessible until the polls were closed. Those are all mock numbers, nothing else can explain the 7777-0 win for Cruz either.

edit: this page will (eventually) have the results.
