I remember on Coaches Corner at one point this year Don Cherry had a segement on Kadri. He proved the Leafs were actually better in the lineup with Kadri than without. Talk about character, the guy got sent down to the minors despite playing decent hockey for the Leafs and he never complained.

The fact he plays for Toronto gives people the wrong impression.

My honest belief is Kadri would thrive on our team.

To each his own, but I do believe that you would be in the minority. I like Kadri, and think he's gonna be a decent player over the years, but there's been nothing to indicate that he'd be an upgrade, or even equal to, Gagner in the Oilers lineup.
