I agree with some of Felger's Bruins takes, but it seems like his frustration with "lack of turnover" is mainly so that it would give them something to talk about, because major roster moves bring in callers and ratings.

I think he's just pissed that they're too wedded to their system, that almost every forward has to be at least average defensively. And I agree with him completely. You can't tell me that Kane and Gaborik light the world on fire defensively.

I admit, I had no idea who this guy was until the last couple of days when his name was mentioned more and more.

At least now I know who it is I want to punch.

On Monday, fresh Hockey Night in Canada host George Stroumboulopoulos and the movers and shakers at Sportsnet unveiled a state-of-the-art studio at the CBC building in downtown Toronto.

Mazz (most beloved sports media member in North America) tends to be in a really bad mood on Tuesdays. Throw in the Patriots loss with the rainy weather, and we have ourselves an epic afternoon drive.

Yeah I'm a bit surprised, I was expecting glass shatteringly-high hourly rants. The show has been pretty solid today, lots of big questions w/r/t to the Pats. Hopefully TTL isn't listening.

I can't wait till Steve Young/Dilfer get suspended since Godfather Kraft makes some calls.. Felger is right.. you rarely ever that type of anger.. but then again its the QB union.

Felgie picking apart sound bytes proving Brady has been griping to the quarterback's union at ESPN about the front office, including floating the idea that the Patriots are not trying to win the SB every year, just stay in the hunt.

I think we are mere minutes from Mazz's favorite rant...."Y'know what this is like, Mike.....it reminds me of the Red Sox...."

Someone needs to hammer Felger for his pre-season hammering of the Patriots for possibly not resigning Revis. Uh, Felger, let's see him play first, before we get mad about next season?

With full hindsight, it's a positive they didn't lock him up to a long term deal. He's been terrible. Really awful. Scrub QB's and rookie QB's are picking him apart right now. I said it before, and I'll say it again. I think Talib was a better fit here, he just couldn't stay healthy.

He has been in zone a good amount this season. I still want to see him do more press one on one. You can tell by his interview last week that he wants to be more aggressive.

Completely misusing him. Downright bad coaching. The guy thrives in man-to-man coverage, and they are running zone after zone. Talib is the better fit for that scheme, but you should adapt to your personnel, not vice-versa. And to be honest, he hasn't been great, but the Pats have held wide receivers in check for the most part. Its their inability to cover tight ends and running backs that has been the problem. Of the 20 passes Smith completed last night, only 8 were to WRs. 6 passing TDs allowed through 4 games, only 1 to a wide receiver (Wallace, week 1).

Then again...they haven't really faced a real WR yet.

Am I crazy or after the 3rd offensive play by Kansas City Revis didn't give up a catch?

To be fair, he prefaced that rant by saying if Revis had a great year. He thought Revis would challenge for defensive player of the year.

I see you aren't familiar with the Maritimes and our struggles grasping the English language.
