They have no idea what they're talking about. Clearly, the fans know better from their couch or seat.

Every player in the NHL is overstated by about 1 inch, so when comparing it does not matter.

Funny considering how I've seen half the team around in Montreal and most our players listed 5'11 and below are overstated by an inch or two easily.

You probably consider Lafleur one of the premier midgets of all times.

Before you say he wasn't a midget ; he's 6', 2 of our top6 forwards are 5'11''

1 inch = the difference between brutish, towering height and diminutive shortness...

Brad Richards is DEFINITELY not 6'1", he's actually 5'10 1/2 inches. For years he was listed as 6'0. Now in some place 6'1".

You can't really count on these things much.

Is it the players or teams ''cheating''? Or both?

What did you trade to get him? A first rounder?

The real question is, what's more funny, a pygmy or a midget???

For me, the midget voice alone wins it.

*no offense to any midgets and pygmies on this board, I like you H10H, you're great, even though you're no midget, i'd still rate you the king of pygmies*

I thought it was the opposite? Might be wrong, haven't checked, anyhow, the fact alone it was Ottawa playing the Habs 6 times might just have sufficed.

UNtrue. You can compare them to Olympic and international competitions where you can find a player's true height because they all pass an official medical exam, and it most often ends-up the same measure than published by the NHL.

This is probably the single best singing I've seen in some time. Great acquisition.

First of all, we plugged a hole as large as Laraque's ass on our 1st line.
Second, he's a play FINISHER. A goalscorer, something we sorely needed.
Third, he's a ES beast
Fourth: he's strong and likes to use his body without much shyness. Will create lots of space for our smaller players.
5th: He was probably the single best piece of meat available on the UFA market, the one that fitted us the best. Maybe he's not the best player in the NHL to play where he'll go, but he sure was the best AVAILABLE.

6th: we still have plenty of cap space
7th: There is a freaking good reason why we didn't offer him 3 years. I SERIOUSLY hope somebody else than me understand why, otherwise I think I'm gonna quit on this fanbase.

Okay. What's happening in 3 years, that means it's a bad idea Cole's contract will finish in that year...?

I think that 8-1 drubbing last year put him back in his place(he didn't give up all 8 goals). again!!!!! He helped PK get a hat trick and helped Pyatt reach the highlight reel!!!!

This almost rivals some of the creepiest things Pierre McGuire has come out with. Seriously.
