Long extra inning games with anemic offense are definitely some of the things I don't miss in the offseason.

Broxton walking off the field and watching the home team celebrate is very familiar to me

Mets had bases loaded and no one out down a run and didn't score and lose 6-5

Only the Mets could load the bases with no one out down a run in the bottom of the 9th and completely blow it.

And the first two outs were strikeouts. You have to put the ball in play in those kinds of situations.

And Collins' terrible bullpen management didn't help, either.

Unfortunately they had the crappiest part of their order up. I wasn't going to be surprised at all if they failed to score when I saw who was due up

Quite a 9th inning at Wrigley.

Giants almost got the Cubs, but they couldn't get the tying run.

Mac Williamson with a tremendous 12-pitch AB against Wade Davis, hit a surprising 2-run HR.

But Panik got rang up looking on the last strike.

This coming after they were up 2 runs with 2 outs in the 9th.

1 out away, 2 run lead..... and boom goes the dynamite.

Why do the mets have to use every pitcher in their bullpen every night? Like why did edgin come out when they were just gonna put smoker in next inning
