Usually the streams are really decent, but today it was terrible. I could never ever see the puck. Not sure if it was CBC or my terrible work computer.

No I was streaming directly from the CBC website. The First two periods were supreme quality but the 3rd was terrible. I was just wondering if other experienced this shift in quality as well.

I streamed from CBC the whole game, with my laptop connected to my TV - the quality was awful the entire game. Could not read the time/score it was so fuzzy

It looked fine on the laptop, but throughout the seasons the streams I was getting could usually go on the TV looking anywhere from okay to great.

Ya, way worse quality than usual. Might have just been overloaded a bit with viewers. I was hoping they would have HD streams for the playoffs so that really sucked.

I connected mine from laptop to TV as well but the first two periods for me were GREAT! really crisp and sharp image. It was the third that was garbage for me. Its interesting as I am hearing most people had a poor stream all the way through. hmmmm Hopefully they remedy the problem because in the third, as was mentioned, I wouldnt even read the time or see the puck

Canada doesn't give two ****s about Ottawa. Look at TSN. In their front page they have headlines of Phx and St. Louis looking to rebound or take larger lead in their respective series while Ottawa is in the headlines on the side under Washington and Boston's.

Disgusting how much little respect Ottawa gets.

Not true.

They are doing that because TSN is a private business. They want to make money. They are advertising their prominent series because they want people to watch TSN, not CBC.

Makes complete sense.

You may have heard this before, but if you're in the Ottawa area, or pretty much any urban area in Canada you can buy an HDTV antenna (they're pretty cheap, usually no more than 20 or 30 bucks) to pick up CBC in HD. And if your TV is new, chances are there may be an antenna built into it already. I'd highly recommend this instead of streaming as the picture quality is the same or comparable to cable or satellite.

CBC is finally testing HD streaming for the Preds/Wings game this afternoon. Long overdue. Between GCL and anything on TSN.ca, CBC has looked like garbage.

The stream last night was decent. I have no complaints. It was that first game that was atrocious.
