you guys like the "sticking up for..." part of his game and I do to. I don't think he is durable enough for that, and I'd accept Falks dual personalities as risk when choosing. Falk has to play like Stoner to stay in the lineup, but Stoner can't stay in the lineup because he's injured all the time. Stoner goal last night aside, Falk to me has looked a lot better offensively as well. Neither one is more than a bottom pairing guy so it isn't the end of the world either way, but for me everything balances out (stoners physicality and attitude vs falks skating and skills) but for Stoner's durability.
to say "he has injuries, yes." is downplaying it for a guy whose universally acknowledged role is and always has been to be physical.
why didn't kane stick up for himself if it was such an egregious offense? Because high calibre players don't get in fights? Too important? ?
Pretty much, say Heatley or Kane (or any other high caliber player) get in a fight, throw a haymaker and hit the other guys helmet breaking their hand/finger whatever, now the team is out a big goal scorer. To much to risk
Thats at least one of the reasons I think most of them don't get in fights

Dany Heatley could save a puppy from a burning building and a few large fanbases would berate him for not putting out the fire.
That's one of the reasons I like him. People hate him. I want people to hate the Wild, especially once we get out of this giant slump of mediocrity and start to contend.

Seriously, if there's one big reason why we don't have real rivalries, it's probably that everyone still thinks of us as "that expansion team everyone wishes was better because gosh darn it they deserve a good team after what they had to go through."
Thankfully, Winnipeg's here to suck up all the sympathy, so we may be on the upswing (of being hated).

Another reason is because were in a division that is more or less full of Canadian teams with fanbases and media full of snobs. No offense meant to any of our Canadian posters.

No, no...I can barely tolerate some of the Canadian posters here...
Though I would love to get back and fight St. Louis and Chicago. Those two teams would be epic.

What I hate about Canadians is how they make broad negative generalizations about entire populations...that really annoys me
