That explains a lot I guess.

I thought it should have been Saturday-Sunday. If the Rangers didn't want to play back-to-back games, could have done it Sunday and the following saturday or even friday night instead of Wednesday.

Can we bring blankets to the game? I didn't see any in the crowd (though I probably wasn't looking too hard), but it does not say anything on the information packet I received about not being allowed.

might want to call the arena customer service and see what the have to say. I know going to baseball games there, they aren't as lenient as the coliseum wtih bringing stuff in

They allow and give away blankets at baseball games, so I couldn't imagine them not allowing you to bring one in (as long as it was searched/screened).

Of course there was a monetary benefit to the Rangers being the visiting team. We knew that the moment the series was announced.

People sitting next to me Sunday had a blanket. Yankee Stadium security was pretty much a joke. Just glanced into my bag and that was it. No wanding or anything.

If you wrap it in a sweatshirt and put in a bag, you can probably get a handle of your favorite booze into the place. My wife had a bag and the guy just asked what was in it and she didnt even open it.

They were also selling blankets for $30. No idea on the quality. It did have Stadium Series graphics.

Or could have had the rangers v Islander and the Devils v Sabres to make it a NY/NJ thing and had them back to back Sat. and Sun. Next year at Citi Field and switch the teams around.

Devils-Sabres would have been an absolute flop. Devils fans would have bought tickets, but I can't imagine too many Sabres fans would make the trek down.

Web cam of the Stadium. They're on the ice and skating drills.
