for the all the credit i give new jerseys offense and i think they have some excellent skill, I still thank a vast majority of the games in the series would end up being 2-1 or 3-2. I just dont think a lot of goals will be scored on either side.
I also expect to see a couple of OT games perhaps even one that goes past 1 OT.
IMO "playoff experience" is the biggest crock that keeps rearing it's head each and every time around this time of year anyway. Playoff experience meant nothing when the Lightning won the Cup in 2004. The better team is always the better team, no matter playoff experience. Would you rather have 12 Draper's on your team or 12 Tavares'?
If Bergenheim can repeat last year's playoffs, Theodore goes into Vezina mode, Campbell continues his all-star production, and Jovo Cop can re-harness some of his own magic, then why not have a deep playoff run.
FWIW, if the Panthers don't stop backing it in as they have these past few games, they have a definite chance.
im a devils fan, and i have to say its to hard to predict. as much as you want to debate on whos deeper, hotter goalie, etc. it all comes down to the attitude and will to win.
plus, for NJ to win Kovalchuk/Parise need to show why they are considered our top two forwards.

I doubt they make it past the 1st round. I'm happy that they made it but it's pretty incredible considering they have the 6th worst goal differention in the league.
