so if somethign bad happened to a kings fan i guess thats karma.
Considering our entire team is messing up on the powerplay without him? Kind of. Stoll taking out Fowler hurt the team. Not just the individual. I don't think players being injured in retaliation is ever a good thing regardless of the team but if you want to be technical, LA losing a key player after taking one of Anaheims out would be karma.
Get the eff over it. It's been five days now. We understand you are all upset and nearly everyone agrees it was a bad hit so your *****ing is wasting bandwith, much like how a couple of you Duck posters seem to find a way to post a new thread to the main board after every Ducks game.
Take it to your board because your fellow Ducks fans are the only ones who care about this hit anymore.
That's probably because Fowler still isn't playing. To lose your best defenseman to a puck to the head and concussion is a lot easier to swallow than this premeditated chicken**** hit. Fowler didn't make the road trip either, so that explains why we are pissed. And if you are sick of this thread why'd you click on it again, smartguy?

Stoll's hit was clearly and without a doubt worthy of a suspension but saying that it was premeditated is completely wrong. It happened and Stoll should have been punished but he didn't go into the game or even that shift thinking "now's my chance to find the perfect play to board Fowler" or anything like it.
It happened. It was a stupid play. Stoll should have been suspended for a couple of games. Hope Fowler gets back to playing fast because he is a fun player to watch and shouldn't have been injured in the first place.

Yeah, that never happened to the Kings when Doughty was elbowed in the head by Zach Rinaldo. It only happens to the Ducks.
agreed. this needs to be posted then have the thread locked. Get over it quack fans, you didnt see anyone form the Kings board posting a thread right after Scuderi's face was smashed into the glass...you know why!?!? because its part of the game! it sucks thats it happened but move on already!
Get back to me the next time your key blueliner gets put on IR as the result of a hit like this. Have we dragged this out farther than it had to be? Sure. I'm just pointing out how ironic it is that a repeat offender who took a player out of the game and straight to IR is probably going to face less discipline than a guy who did basically the same thing only with less impact. If the league wants to be accountable it needs to be consistent with its so called "player safety concerns". That's what we're talking about. We're long past the hit itself at this point.

Which one is the repeat offender who took a player strait to IR?

1: If Fowler is still out two months from now, will the usual suspects be on the main board still complaining about it?
2: Learn what "premeditated" means before using it in a sentence.
3: We all understand you are pissed about it: we've known it since Saturday. Take it to your own board unless you prefer to keep looking like petty whiners with a persecution complex.
4: You've got to click on the thread and read it before being irritated by what is inside of it. While I am a "smartguy" (one word), I have not yet mastered reading something without actually looking at it; however, progress has been made on this front as I now know any post made by you will be pure drivel. It's not exactly reading something without looking at it, but it's a start.

hmmm...didnt you just post something on the previous page about karma suggesting you're happy Scuderi got his face plastered into the glass? ok yea...but thread isnt about that its about league inconsistency...
By "no call" is that "no phone call from Shanny" or "no penalty on the play"?
Both...which is why there's such an uproar. The refs understandably missed the call on ice but there should have been some sort of supplemental discipline.
Shanahan explaining why he didn't suspend Stoll is absolute joke. He picks one side view of it, when you can see clearly that him on his "heels," is in reality him turning into Fowler, not trying to avoid an hit.

1. You obviously aren't understanding the problem (no surprise). Cheap shots happen, it's part of the game. But when they don't even get reviewed it sends the wrong message to *****es like Stoll. He'll get someone else now that he knows there won't be repercussions.
2. Ok, obviously I didn't mean premeditated like he planned this before the game. I meant it in the sense that he saw his opportunity and DELIBERATELY targeted his head. Better?
3. Maybe it's on the main board so we can discuss it with the other teams' fans. Ever think of that? Just because your team is on the **** end doesn't mean no one else wants to discuss a "questionable" hit, which leads me to...
4. You knew what the thread was going to be about before you opened it. See, that's what the TITLE's purpose is. So don't give me this **** about not knowing if it was going to bunch up your panties. And get over the grammar ****. I'm typing on an iPhone. It's going to happen. Doesn't change my point that you lacked foresight on that one. If you have a problem with the main boards take your own advice.

1. It DID get reviewed.
2. He didn't even hit his head, he slammed his elbow on the boards to brace HIMSELF after Fowler was already going down.
But yes, let's keep acting like no one cared about the Fowler hit and that Stoll now knows he can go target someone else...
At least when Pronger did it I admitted it was cheap and intentional. Some of you Kings fans are so jaded that there's nothing I can say to make you look any dumber.

agree...and as a ducks fan yes it obviously sucks, but this should now be a thread about the inconsistancy of "player safety/sup. discipline" then the incident itself...i agree its hockey and crap happens, it sucks but i could go off about shanahan and how slowing these plays down frame by frame to try and determine "intent" is the problem....IMO "players safety" is black/white but they make it into a grey area's and determine which players get the benefit of the doubt and which dont, which is where IMO the problem lie's.....if stoll gets suspended for the rest of the season, as a ducks fan i dont feel any better about fowler being out
