Best 1000th game performance

Marian Hossa is the last player with 1000 games. But hi was pointless.
What are the best individual performances from players, in their 1000th game?

Teemu Selanne recorded two goals against Minnesota Wild in December 31, 2006 in his 1000th game (the only 1000th game I really remember).

Thornton scored a goal and assisted on the game-tying goal with the goalie pulled vs NJD. Went to OT and Sharks won in SO. He got a wooly mammoth tusk for his troubles.

Marleau scored a goal in a win over PHX. Thornton had a goal and assist in that game so he horned in on Marleau's action.

Not a 1000th game performance, but a 500th goal one.

To get his 500th goal, Sundin had a hattrick. The 3rd goal was in OT and was a short-handed goal. Hard to imagine a much more dominant game than that for the milestone.

Its probably my favourite memory as a Leafs fan since the first lockout.

Against Calgary if I'm not mistaken?

Yep. 500th goal was a slapshot from the blueline off the rush, I believe high glove side on Kipper.

I still get goosebumps when I watch this replay

Phillips game was great. Didn't have a goal all year. Got two in his 1000th.

Yeah, in terms of elevating his play, I don't think anyone else comes close.

Daniel Alfredsson scored his 1,000th point in a hat-trick to seal a 4-2 win over the Sabres.

His 400th goal was a GWG in OT on the PP with a huge slapper.

Crazy!

Meh. Bossy scored two goals in the last five minutes of the game to accomplish 50 in 50.

Not even one full page into this and people are ignoring what the thread is about. Well done HF.

Patty Elias had a goal and 2 assists in his 1000th. Probably not the best, but a 3 point night is still damn impressive in a milestone game.

Not really.

It's about all kinds of milestones now.

Kovalev scored his 1000 point at 10:00 mark of the period while breaking his stick.
