Obviously there are other defensemen that can and probably will take away one or two spots, both sweden and canada has depth beyond these guys, but generally that would probably be it. Which one would you take?
Theres no gaurentee Seabrook makes it, he only made it last time for his chemistry with Keith.
Id put a guy like Myers or SUbban over him.
Myers would be a great 7th, it would be a good experience for him and guys of his size dont grow on trees.
I don't think the Swedish group will be quite ready by that time to be considered better than the Canadian group. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if the group of Swedes listed will in 3-4 years be better than the group of Canadians listed are right now.
Still a year away and time for others to prove themselves. I just like the speed and stickwork from the above top 6 on the big ice surface. Also with Weber and Subban are too huge shots from the point, as the PP will be vital in one and done games.
Not sure if your just joking around. Justin Shultz would be playing on the Vancouver Canucks top pairing right about now if he chose Vancouver Canucks. No joke. Hes very good, and I believe they will keep an eye out on him for 2014 Sochi.
But on this topic, I would chose Canada, based on unreal depth.
