Solid first period. Not the most structured game perhaps, but the tempo is high, and NJ aren't able to handle our forecheck so far.
Nödl was a bit unlucky on that last chance. He looks stronger this year, so far. PK units in general continues to do a good job.
Good to see Giroux continues to shoot the puck. Nice play by Carle to keep the puck in the zone as well.
