3 on 1 for Aeros. Palmer makes "bad" saucer pass as Wellman unable to handle it and put it into the empty net.

Checkers score to make it 2-0. Checkers on PP.

Aeros looking lethargic...Hackett has faced a lot of shots.

Aeros down 2-0 at end of 2. Only Hackett and Wellman noticeable.

Just had a dumb thought...

If Wellman can never adapt to the NHL as a scorer, maybe he can have Walz teach him to be a shut-down defenseman? His speed/stride/puckhandling all remind me of Walz...

Wellman scores 5th goal of year on PP! Checkers' goalie was injured.

10 min left.

It was McIntyre from Fontaine.

A lot of luck for Aeros/Wild these last 24 hours.

Aeros with two scoring chances late in the game. Checkers' backup up to the task.

Holy ****, Taffe scores with 4 seconds to win game. Talk about luck!

Aeros did outplay Checkers last period but still....felt just like Wild game.

Former Mr. Hockey and Golden Gopher Jeff Taffe? That's what I'm talking about!

Is this joke worn thin yet?

Are you talking about Hastings native Jeff Taffe?

Interesting, is the money better over there?

Also, per that article, Almond is healthy and joining the Aeros soon. Huzzah!
