I'm afraid that his style of playing doesn't fit with Anaheim's since we do not score empty netters.

You guys better make room for him down there, because he is bringing it strong. Yeah, I think Anaheim has something pretty good here.

He is. With that being said, he's had a man's body since his draft year and has clearly taken that next step in understanding how to use it. It might take some adjusting at the next level, but he clearly has the speed and hands to be a future top 6 winger.

The thing about Etem that was a huge difference is how he bulked up and and is now taking pucks to the net strong. When Anaheim drafted him, they were getting a player that used his speed primarily and scored a lot of his goals from the outside off the rush, now he is finishing those same plays at the net. The Ducks have to be loving how this kid has evolved into a power forward.

Was one of my favorite prospects in his draft year for no other reason than he listed Bad Religion as his favorite band on his draft profile. I said at the time he should go first overall for that alone. Haha.

Kinda bummed he didn't make the team now. We could really use him right now.

It is best for his progress that he was sent down. Imop.

Probably. That doesn't mean we don't miss him in Anaheim right now. They need all the help offensively they can get. If it's better for his development though(and I think it is), then it was still the right decision.

Uh, they made it to the Finals with him and Anaheim hasn't made it out of the 1st round since he left, so I think they like him just fine.

Yep, no need for that. Philly got pretty much exactly what they wanted from Pronger, and the Ducks were able to turn the picks they received into what they could possibly hope for. It's looking like a very solid deal from the Ducks' end, but the Flyers rightfully won't have to look back at it with any second thoughts.

I wished the Habs had drafted Etem instead of Tinordi two years ago.

You can brag when any of them do ANYTHING at the NHL level. Does Sbisa even play in Anaheim anymore ? The best player in the deal is and will always be Mr. Pronger.

I'll agree with you that his comment was ridiculous... However, I wouldn't trade Sbisa straight up for Pronger tomorrow..

I am starting to get very jealous of the Ducks. I remember watching that draft when Fowler dropped, and then they got one of my favourite prospects (at the draft) in Etem at what? #28, 29?

Quit hogging onto Booby - Getz - Perry and the best draft decision cards.

Although, Anaheim acquiring Fowler was probably why Gardiner became expendable. Thank you Ducks for not passing on Fowler.
