Well, some CBJ fans are expecting Dorsett to do something stupid tonight.

Get ready, Wild.

Ryan Johansen sitting tonight so lines may look something like:

Prospal - Carter - Nash
Umberger - Vermette - Atkinson/Brassard
Calvert - Pahlsson - Atkinson/Brassard
Mayorov - Mackenzie - Dorsett ()

Tyutin - Martinek
Methot - Clitsome ()
Russell () - Savard

Mason
Sanford

out - Huselius, Wisniewski (), Johansen, Johnson

i am sure they will flop since most everyone outside of the top line and Martinek struggled noticeably last night, but that is more accurate than OP.. good luck, go jackets

Damn I wanted to see Johansen. Is Savard sticking with the team or sent to AHL after Wiz is back?

last night, he grabbed a puck on the PK (because he was without a stick) and literally threw it like it was a baseball and he was playing catch with Rinne

he did stuff like this all last year.. at least he tries hard, though?

Savard was awesome in camp and in the preseason, but struggled really bad in game 1. We are hoping it had to do a lot with being paired with Russell (who shouldn't be in the NHL and most everyone knows it), but he has some more games to prove preseason was no joke. The majority of us want him to stay over Russell and believe he will.

Doesn't feel like opening day, but that's probably because it's 80 degrees out. Lets hope the ice is frozen indoors.

Excited to see what type of posts/threads we'll wake up to tomorrow....

- How awesome is this team?! We're soooo making the postseason this year!!!

- Best coach ever!!!

- Our first line is so sexy.

- Well......they're still learning each other's habits right now. Give them a few more games to get it right.

- Can't win them all. Besides, it's all about next season!

- Defense was brought to us by MNDot....pylons everywhere!

- We suck!!! We always suck!! And it's time we do things right by trading Backstrom, Heatley, Koivu, Seto, Schultz, Cullen, Butch, Lats, Spurg, Brods, and Granlund to see what we can get for them. Rebuild!

- Fire the coach and GM ASAP!

- I drank too much last night, and woke up with Nordy's head on the pillow next to me. WTH?

Let's Go Wild!!!!

Holy crap, the hockey season can't start soon enough! Never been so happy to see a GDT!

My guess, it will be another close one, but I say the Wild win 3-2 after going up 3-0 in the first with the first line in a starring role.

Not unless pride counts for anything.

About the only thing I'm not looking forward to this season is having to listen to Dumb and Dumber every game. It was actually nice the last few years being able to watch opponents feeds on center ice when the Wild were on 45.

No stream so far.

And OMG, my NHL Centre Ice prefer to put the Panthers/Islanders game in HD over the Wild game... Really?

At least I'm gonna get the Wild game in HD on Monday afternoon and Tuesday night on TSN.

Section 105 row 19 seats 11 and 12 for my dad and I. Then 10:00 p.m. dinner reservations at the St. Paul Grill. A win for the Wild with Prime Rib afterwards. Gonna be an awesome night.
