Preds fan coming in peace.

I just wanted to say good luck and may the best team win the Jim Balsillie Memorial Bowl.

I have been saying its the Balsillie Classic. I am just happy that for the most part, it will not be two obnoxious fan bases against one another as we have both just encountered.

Non-traditional markets representing. Very nice. I hope for a good clean series and no hard feelings.

Always appreciate the support the Nashville fans have given us on the HF Boards over these past few years of the ownership BS. Made me a fan their team (2nd to the Yotes of course). At least one of our Teams goes on to the Western Conference Finals, pretty cool I think. Winner take all I hope.
Go Yotes

Me too -- Preds are definitely my choice if we don't win -- but it usually doesn't work this way. The bottom line is that by the middle of a series, you just end up hating the other guys. They say something nasty in an interview, or a fan of the opposing team is a jerk in the arena, or someone on HFBoards says something idiotic, and eventually there's animosity.

If the Coyotes and the Predators meet in the second round, fans of both teams should throw Blackberries on the ice.
Going for the yotes, but I'll be happy either way because I'd love to see both these teams do well

Should be a fun series to watch. Even more emphasis on the D on this one. Smith has been playing lights out over the last couple games, I just hope the down time doesn't cool him off too much. Rest has always been a strong suit for Smith though.

This comes at a great time though, I'm really glad we don't have to play a 7th game, get some days off here and rest up the injured.

The worst part about Weber's move was that he only did it once so the fans didn't get to count. lol

Blackberries would be a bit much... but, in the grand scheme, would actual blackberries be the worst thing ever thrown in a hockey rink? I think not. And they'd get the point across to anyone who's paying attention, sure enough.

Unlike Hacksaw Jim Duggan, it actually did bother Zetterberg.

Not sure if you guys have been paying attention to the markets, but RIM is basically dead in the water along with Balsille. It's likely that he would have had to sell the team had he won the BK case regardless.

Wonder how far one can throw a blackberry. Seems like all the fans in seats further away would be raining down blackberries upon the first few rows.

I want to like the Preds. I do like them actually. Trotz and Poilie are something else. Troztz is coach of the decade, amazing he's been there since day 1. I was kind of a fan of the Predators when they were an expansion team, liked their colors, jersey. I can remember them running with Jay More and Cliff Ronning. Got JJ Daigneault from them. Well, I'm not quite the supporter I was. You watch them grow, then you see what they do to your team and the league as a whole and you realize they're a team to beat.

It just seems to me we have a real formidle opponent in the second round, one that I can' say I hate but believe will draw some bad blood. It's just inevitable. They have Jordin Tootoo. Always good for controversy every few games. Saying that, they're not a goon type of team anyways. Even though Rinne has been great these playoffs, watching those games I started to feel like I wished we would have played the Wings this year. They just didn't have it. Welp, should be a blast. This is probably the first time in a long that I'm glad we aren't playing a game tomorrow.

If the Coyotes knock out the Preds, they're definitely a team for which I can cheer.

I wish both teams an injury-free series.

Outsider fan wanting one of your teams to represent the West this season.

Please, just not L.A or St. Louis. I don't want to see Sutter or Hitchcock-branded hockey make the Stanley Cup Finals.

Haha our best PKers aren't healthy right now, imagine what Shea Weber shots from the point will do to them.

No matter what, one team is going to advance to the 3rd round for the first time in its history and I think that is awesome!

Agreed 100%!

Now, if ya'll really want some bad blood while we wait for the series to start we could always make fun of each other's cities (although technically I'm not from Nashville and sadly never even been there).

I have been to the Phoenix (well again, technically Tempe) area twice and it was too damn hot!

But it's a "dry heat".
