Hey now, don't you remember when they got off to a 4-0 start last year and the Stanley Cup was already declared to them?

In all seriousness I could see them possibly squeezing in the 8th seed spot...but that will require a lot of things going right for them and their players being relatively consistent.

Was not impressed with the Leafs at all, it took them 11 minutes into the 1st to actually get a shot at the net. In the 2nd Gonchar happened and basically gave them the game, in the 3rd they got rattled and basically collapsed, Reimer looked meh.

OK so this is how it went down on our Saturday group.

We haev me the Sens fan, Eugene the bandwagoner that cheers for guys named Eugene, right now that's Evgeni Malkin because Evgeni is Eugene then we have Chris the diehard Leafs fan.

We watch the game and the Leafs score, and score and score again...and each time Chris gets up and pushes the Leafs crest right in my face while I quiet him down...then ALFIE SCORES and I start walking around in the Alfie jersey, strutting like the **** of the walk. Then the comeback starts and I start pulling out the Sens flag and waving it in his face and he gets so mad...when we're at 4-5 it looks like he's having a heart attack, he calls the Leafs gutless chokers and then Kessel scores and he's like:

"Yes! Leafs rock! You guys are TERRIBLE!"

And all I can do is laugh and laugh and laugh.

GOod times!

Lol, you might have been, but that's the 2nd game in a row Brian Lee was thrown out on the PP. He was also on the ice for Kuba's seeing eye goal against the Wings.

While these first two games have been pretty disappointing, at least they have been very entertaining, now the team has just got to play every period like its the third and they're down a ******** of goals.

Well that game was in T.O. so there's your explanation.

As for in our place, booing is a loud sound, and when Alfie has the puck our fans are generally watching and waiting for a great play. Leafs fans are busy booing. When he scores we are cheering and they are having another gulp of beer quietly...

But you're right we should kick their ***** just for being there anyways!

Boo Phaneuf or Kessel.

Chant Reimer's name.

Do ****ing something. Even when we score our cheers are nothing compared to other fan bases.

Or you could just watch the game and let the morons that think it is important to act like a fool and make noise do just that.

No i would not go as far as saying they have it all could they be a good team sure but at the best there a bubble team as for 4 or 5 all stars no i can't see that.Aslo don't forget they got off to a great start last year they were 4-0 and people were saying the same thing there the real deal then what happened they went on a lossing streak.

And a moustache painted on him.

You get the feeling so far that everyone including even the media, is behind Maclean? No one questioning any of his decisions. I think it's because he garners a lot of respect as a former player and a member of the Detroit dynasty.

I'm not really arguing with you about his respect level per say....but the Wings from 2005--2011(MacLeans tenure) weren't exactly what I would call a ''dynasty''.

from 96-03 it would be fair make that statement about them though.
