Unbelievable.

Now we have to have Enqvist up all year. What a waste of a roster spot he is. Doesn't hit, doesn't win face-off's, doesn't score.

Engqvist is indeed a useless fantasy league player. Though the same can be said about Betts, who is basically a polished version of him.

We have no push-back, and nobody on this team can win face-off's. Steckel was something like 80% against us.

Poor Carey has to limit the other team to 1 goal or less, or we have hardly any chance of winning the game.

How does that even make sense?

We didn't lose Alex Ovechkin, we lost Betts. How the **** does that equate scoring 1 goal or less. Did acquiring Betts all of a sudden mean we were going to score 5 goals a game?

I'm confused how losing Betts has anything to do with us scoring more than 1 goal per game.

I'd have zero problem signing Madden. Not to mention the guy already knows Gomez and Gio.. Id think its a better addition then Betts imo.

I think he got hurt during the last pre season game but no one thought it was significant. Thats what I remember hearing from someone on the Flyers board.

If we didn't laugh we would cry.

We should defintely pick up Madden, I also wouldn't hate Grier, although we need centres more than wingers. We definitely need a physical veteran presence on the bottom two lines, Grier is a + player with plenty of hits. Put up 16 points and 112 hits in 73 games last year, good for a fourth liner IMO.
