Unless Upton gets a hit, I've lost the championship match in my fantasy league. It came down to batting average...and I've lost by .003. If I had won that category It would have gone to the tiebreaker, which I would have taken.

hahaha, oh man.

The area where I grew up has a huge Braves following. There is much wailing and gnashing of teeth on facebook.

Cardinals starters had a 1.15 ERA in the 9 games that they played each other this year. Uh oh.

I'd have to agree but I would rather a Phillies/Yankees rematch! I want to see them destroy the Yankees.

That has to be one of the best nights of baseball I've ever seen besides when the Phillies won the WS (both nights)

This was the best sports night ever. Period.

A two-hour long orgasm of epic collapses and human comedy.

The Phillies WS win was pure ecstasy - but 9/28/2011 packed the power of 10 Christmas mornings that blindsided me after work.

All the Red Sox had to do was go 9-18 in September. That's it.

They couldn't do it.

It's amazing that TWO teams matched the Mets disastrous collapse of 2007 in one season.

If anyone was wondering, Dick Stockton and Bob Brenly are supposed to be the TBS crew for the Phillies/Cardinals series.

I have to wonder, how many people just had their preseason playoff predictions trashed in the matter of an hour or so? Boston was the overwhelming favorite to do well in the AL, if not win the WS, and Atlanta was the trendy pick by a lot of "experts" who wanted to pick a team other than the Phils.

A few of those games didn't feature our real offense to be fair. This series might be more about the Cards hot lineup I think, and minimizing the damage from that heart of the order. They're a challenge for sure.

I was expecting hearndon to have his normal type of outing, give up a few bomb's. Playoff game today, and phillies playing a spent team saturday. I'd have rather played the reeling braves than the hot cards.
